I’ve been tagged by Jay Paolini, Actor.
What a fun way to get to meet other bloggers out there in the ether, and express my appreciation publicly for the pleasure their blogs give me, the stealthy, unnamed pilgrim traveling their narrative and visual byways (as on the public footpaths of England and Wales), without acknowledging it in most cases—until now.
Thank you, fellow bloggers, for brightening so many of my days!
The Rules Are:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Post eleven fun facts about yourself on the blog post.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and then create eleven new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
4. Tag eleven bloggers; however, you can break the rules and tag fewer people if you want. Make sure you hyperlink their names/blogs.
5. Let them know you've tagged them!
6. Have fun!

Sadly, I can’t; I need quiet (or non-engaging sounds) around me to hear the voices/rhythms of the written words in my head.

Oh my. This will take some thought.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you held the door open for Umberto Eco. I'm so jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd come on! Which movie is that you've watched more than ten times!!??
Interesting answers, Christie.
It's nice to get to know something more about you :)
Jay: Yes, Umberto Eco came to Stanford many years ago, and gave an amazing talk on fakes/forgeries/copies of destroyed originals, and where reality lies in all of that. I'm not sure he ever published it; I did look for it several times without any luck. He looked a lot like one of my favorite uncles.
DeleteAnd oh, all right--the movies are Crossing Delancey, A Room With a View, and Dirty Dancing. Not necessarily in that order. Maybe Dr. Zhivago too, though it's so long it probably just feels like ten times.
Such intriguing questions!!
ReplyDeleteGive me a while to consider and I'll get back with you.
Thanks for including me.
I do love your blog!
Oh welcome, Pamela and Edward! I should have come up with some questions just for Edward, though maybe he will like some of these... Hope you'll have some fun pondering.
DeleteSuch great questions! Thank you for including me. And I enjoyed learning more about you. Especially liked your idea of a Tom Stoppard sequel to "Shakespeare in Love," which is one of my very favorite movies! Will think about all of this, and get back to you. Your blog is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sunday. And again, it's great having you here.
